From My Mind to Yours
My name is Mihai Alexandru. Like many people, I struggled with forgetting things, dropping ideas, and missing appointments. Every spark of inspiration seemed to slip away before I could use it.
I was working twelve-hour shifts as a waiter, coming back to a small room in a staff house. My body was exhausted, but my mind was overflowing. The world gave me productivity apps. I needed something more. I needed a brain.
So I built one that never forgets.
It began with scraps—scribbles on napkins between tables, voice notes whispered during dish shifts, late‑night obsessions about memory and thought. I dove into psychology, neuroscience, AI models, cognitive architecture. Not in a lab. In a restaurant break room.
No degree. No cofounder. No capital.
Just me, coding in silence.
What I created wasn’t another AI assistant. It wasn’t another chatbot that spits out answers. It was a mind — one that remembers, connects, and evolves.
One that mirrors how we think — short‑term, long‑term, focused, forgetful when needed, emotional, structured, human.
I didn’t do it for money or fame. I did it because I refused to lose myself.
This is Kai — a second brain that remembers, connects, and evolves.
